I read this one in a magazine and i want to share it to you. I also usually likes takeouts.

***Grilled or toasted Turkish or focaccia bread sandwiches with marinated vegetables and reduced fat cheese.
***Burritos, with beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and a little cheese (skip the sour cream!)
***Whole wheat or whole grains rolls with fillings such as lettuce, egg, char grilled vegetables, and avocado or hummus instead of margarine or butter.
***Order freshly squeezed juices or fruit smoothies as an alternative to soft drinks and thick shakes.
***Stir-fried vegetables with a serving of steamed rice.
***Tubs of freshly prepared rice and beans or a fruit salad.
***Try frozen yogurt or low-fat yogurt mixed with fresh fruits.

Words of wisdom

“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of the old. Behold, I will do a new thing.” ~ Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV

Let us consider this day a new beginning. Consider it a fresh start, a renewed opportunity to serve our Creator with willing hands and a loving heart. Let us ask God to renew our sense of purpose as he guides our steps. Today is a glorious opportunity to serve our Father in heaven. Seize that opportunity while we can; tomorrow my indeed be too late.

“No matter how badly we have failed, we can always get up and begin again. Our God is the God of new beginnings” ~ Warren Wiersbe

Making Healthy Choices At A Cafe Or Restaurant

I just finish reading about healthy choices of food when we went to a restaurant or cafe. Will i want also to share it to you. This is came from Sanitarium Nutrition Education Service.

*Look for dishes that are steamed, grilled, stir-fried, or baked
*Choose dishes based on rice or pasta and plenty of vegetables
*Choose dishes that are not fried or battered and avoid dishes that are served with creamy sauces
*Order salads with low-fat dressings or request that the dressing be served on the side
*Fresh fruit is great for dessert or alternatively you could select fruit sorbet instead of ice cream
*Ask for ice water or mineral water in preference of soft drinks.

Food for thought

Keep your wants, your joys, your sorrows, your cares, and your fears before God. You cannot burden Him; u cannot weary Him. He who numbers the hairs of your head is not indifferent to the wants of is children. "The Lord is very pitiful, & of tender mercy." James 5:11.

His heart of love is touched by our sorrows. Take to Him everything that perplexes the mind. Nothing is too great for Him to bear for He holds up the world & rules over all the affairs the universe. SC p.96

May God bless us always....
